Dopo le tante indiscrezioni in merito, Sony ha ufficializzato al TGS 07 il nuovo controller DualShock 3, che aggiunge il supporto alla vibrazione.
Il nuovo controller appare a prima vista identico al vecchio, anche se ha la scritta DualShock 3 ed il peso č leggermente superiore, considerando che entrambi sono senza fili e integrano una batteria agli ioni di litio.
DualShock 3 sarą disponibile in Giappone dal mese di Novembre, mentre Europa e Stati Uniti dovranno attendere la Primavera del 2008.

Sony ha poi reso noto l'elenco completo dei titoli per PlayStation 3 compatibili con le funzionalitą di vibrazione.
La lista č da considerarsi aggiornata al 20 settembre 2007, ma i titoli con il simbolo "x" saranno compatibili dopo un aggiornamento tramite PlayStation Network.
